Dublin Whiskey Tours delights in giving visitors to Dublin the knowledge and experience of tasting Irish whiskey in its natural home – the Dublin pub. Sample 5 exquisite whiskeys, savoring smooth flavors that call to mind clear mountain streams and times long past.

Our first whiskey bar is the Dingle Whiskey Bar, a purpose built whiskey bar in the heart of the city. Settle up to the immaculate bar and toast the start of the tour with a blended whiskey. Note the warm feeling the intermingling flavors produce, and then chat with your guide about Ireland’s tradition of whiskey distilling. Learn what makes Irish whiskey distinct from other spirits produced around the world.

After this brief introduction, it’s time to explore the city. We will meander down Dublin’s ancient streets and visit Bowes Lounge on Fleet Street where you can choose to sample a single-grain whiskey from the local Teeling Distillery or a single-peated malt made by the Kilbeggan Distillery – the oldest in Ireland.

After this you will head to The Palace Bar – home to legendary drinkers and writers – Brendan Behan, Flann O’Brien & Patrick Kavanagh. All three loved a drink in here and you will too as you sample the Palace Bar’s very own 12 year old single malt whiskey – bottled for the owner and as rare as they come.

Sit back in this Victorian bar – established in 1832 and listen to your whiskey guide regale you with tales of christian monks, illicit stills and our proud history of whiskey production.

When the whiskey tour is over you can sample some more fine Irish whiskey at The Palace Bar and enjoy tasting your whiskey with the knowledge you have picked up over the last 2 enjoyable hours.
