The Dingle Whiskey Bar

Whiskey Bar of the Year 2017 Dublin Whiskey Trail

Taking its name from the Dingle Distillery in Co. Kerry, the Dingle Irish Whiskey Bar in Nassau Street is probably the best Irish Whiskey Bar in Dublin. With its beautiful, cosy interior of reclaimed whiskey barrel oakwood, you really get into the spirit of the place from the minute you enter the bar. Their extensive whiskey card covers everything from Ireland’s top single pot still royalty to the single malts and single grain whiskies of Scotland’s five traditional whisky regions. From the smoky malts of Islay (where Dingle Distillery’s John McDougall was once distillery manager at the legendary Laphroaig) to the honeyed white oak maples of Booker’s small batch bourbon to the experimental concoctions and traditional stalwarts of Ireland’s own exploding whiskey scene, the Dublin Dingle Bar celebrates the hard stuff in all its rich and wonderful diversity.

When Dingle Distillery’s own first whiskey is finally matured and ready for sale, rest assured that they will be stocking it in its rightful place on those same eclectic shelves! Unsure what to order? Just ask Dingle Bar’s super knowledgeable and helpful bartenders and they will guide you to suit whatever taste you are looking for.

Despite their passion for Irish Whiskey, they also enjoy serving a variety of wines, bottle craft beers, and diverse spirits with a particular focus on their own Dingle Distillery artisan Dingle Gin. Well they had to make something to drink while they waited years for the whiskey to mature!

The Dingle Irish Whiskey Bar is the best Irish Whiskey Bar in Dublin for 2017. It’s official! You heard it on the Dublin Whiskey Trail.
